Click on Thumbnail Today (Tuesday) I rigged the sails back on Seatern and cleaned down the decks. After continual mobile westerly conditions, high pressure finally got established at the end of last week. Even on the Wednesday we had a gale with a secondary dpression deepening vigorously over southern England. In the northerly cold sector the fender board got hooked up indide the jetty and at some point turned "inside out". Fortunately the wind was tending to keep Seatern from the jetty so I don't think any damage was done. On Saturday I had the SRCMBC model boat exhibition at Highcliffe and on Sunday I was committed to a watch at Calshot. Yesterday I felt tired out so went for a walk along the coast.

Click on Thumbnail I started at Warsash and walked to Solent Breezes caravan park passing the end of the electricity power line tunnel under Southampton Water on the way (top photo). That means that, over various times, I've walked along each bit of coast from Warsash to Gilkicker Point.
